Our firm was founded in 1930 by our first name partner H. Leinweber in Berlin, the former seat of the German central authority for intellectual property rights. After its relocation to Munich, our firm also moved offices in 1959 to our present-day location in the city center of Munich.
There, our firm expanded to its present-day scope, initially through our second eponymous partner H. Zimmermann in 1962 and later by the addition of further partners. It offers consultation, representation and cooperation in infringement litigation for national as well as international clients, in particular with focus on the fields of mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering, information technology as well as design and trademark protection.
Leinweber and Zimmermann is proud to provide summer internships for Yale University students as an employer in the Yale-coordinated International Internships Program.
